Re: Steven Moffat - where did it all go wrong?

Did JNT make the Doctor and the Master gay lovers like RTD? Did he fill it full of gay characters? Did Terry Nation set every story in Wales and throw in jokes about the English that he knew his Welsh friends at home would get? Gay lovers? must have missed that bit!!!! Well JNT brought Adric into i...

Re: NuWho Target Novelisations on the way???

I'm over halfway through Day of the Doctor at the moment. Its good fun and expands on the TV version, The Brigadier gets a Mention / bit in it as does River Song. Its a good alternate version of the Story

Re: Steven Moffat - where did it all go wrong?

2/ Missy: Dear god Missy! Anyone who defends her is either a liar or not a real fan. Its as simple as that. Seriously? Let me tell you something young Joseph, I've been a huge fan of the series since 1981 when i first started watching the show with Logopolis (I was 5 years old). I stuck with it thr...

Re: The Enemy of the World SE? March 26th

the commentaries are "alright" but do suffer from that "geeky moderator asking such elaborate questions that the poor actor or makeup lady has little left to say except 'yes'" thing... A pity Barry Letts never lived to see these again, I'm sure he'd have had tons of interesting ...

Re: The Enemy of the World SE? March 26th

The disks are copy protected to stop people ripping them on their computers and copying them, that's something completely different as to where you can play them. I already knew that mate, I simply typed what was on the cover to show their was no region mentioned. Copy protection doesn't work anywa...

Re: The Enemy of the World SE? March 26th

Multi-region players FTW. :D Most UK DVDs and Blurays can be played in Australia. All the Doctor Who dvds are region 2 and 4 You are correct regarding standard definition DVD's but there is nothing on any of the Blu-ray discs I have to say they will play down under, Spearhead from Space, Power Of T...

I've watched some of the extras so far. The Lost and Found one is very good with a nice emotional ending. The interview with Phil was ok too

Re: Big Finish to use the new 2018 logo on all future produc

Oh dear.. Apparently they're being forced to use it as part of the BBC's and Chibnall's aim to brand everything Doctor Who under one brand. One logo. Discuss  Not really too bothered myself TBH. I buy them for the CD and not the packaging. if its on download its not going to make much differe...

Re: Tom Baker - The Complete First Season S12 Blu-ray

There’s no problem with them playing, it’s just that they tend to be significantly cheaper here (and you don’t have to wait for them to arrive). Yeah that's true. I have to admit that i've had a few dvds or videos posted over from Australia when i've not been able to get them here. The Reign of Ter...

Re: Series 11 Spoiler Thread

When the BBC axed Classic Who the first time, there was no press release or no announcement, they just let it quietly fade. Technically that was the second time as they tried it first in 1985, saying that it would only be off for 18 months. Does smell of total BS to me though, unless the overseas s...

Re: Tom Baker - The Complete First Season S12 Blu-ray

Well I emailed BBCWW regarding Australian release dates for the Enemy SE and Tom Baker bluray sets. No response yet. This is BS. It should have been announced by now. I have been keeping a close eye on JB HI-FI for their TV show pre-orders - and still nothing. I was more interested in the Enemy SE,...
