The Invasion it is in a couple of weeks time.
So, this Easter weekend, BLACK ORCHID.

Next weekend, AN UNEARTHLY CHILD.

The weekend after, THE INVASION.

And if we're still in lock down after that, I recommend something by Eric Saward to help satiate the growing appetite for blood lust and ultra-violence... ;)
Sadly I think we’ll be in lockdown until the end of June at the earliest, so we’ve got plenty of time.
I've seen medical experts in both Australia and the US say that this current situation could "potentially" last for between 12 to 18 months.

Of course, there are simply too many variables to accurately predict how events will unfold and over what period of time, but it's perfectly clear that things won't be returning to normal any time soon.

I personally think this global pandemic will probably end up having more of an effect on our daily lives than anything else that's happened since the end of WWII.

I'm not even sure that Salamander could've had more of an effect. ;)
No, but look on the bright side it will be an excuse to watch a Classic Who story every weekend.

If we got a few more people commenting we could aim for two every weekend. It’s not as if we’re doing anything or going anywhere.
I just finished my annual watch of THE LONG GOOD FRIDAY with Bob Hoskins and Helen Mirren and I've still got the rest of the weekend free for BLACK ORCHID...

Although I like to keep 6 to 8 hours per day aside for video gaming. :D

I believe Harold's younger, lesser-known brother became a musical artist. ;)

Don’t forget it’s back to where it all began this weekend with An Unearthly Child as chosen by bowties.

Agreed. Bob Hoskins' performance is so intense it could set fire to the rug!

An Unearthly Child this weekend.

Here’s a brand new thread for it so we can post our comments there.

Having seen "An Unearthly Child" plus "100,000 BC" (or whatever it's called), I'm keen to find out what happens next. If anyone gives me the chance to choose, I may go for that mysterious "The Dead Planet" that was mentioned in the final credits.

Ok Liz, you’ve got your wish. In two weeks time, after The Invasion we will all rewatch that story referred to as The Dead Planet.

Oh, has the selection been improved?

The last time I tried to watch them, many episodes were mislabeled, partly missing or completely missing.

Although it was a few years ago now...

Definitely an improvement on what was available the last time I looked. :D

I think, yet again, Joanna Lumley will be playing an important role in my near future. ;)

It's a hard life sometimes...
