Thanks to donations from members I've been able to move Planet Mondas to a faster server. But I'm still working on further improvements. Ad Revenue covers the server fees, but not my time, so if you like you can buy me a coffee, which will help fuel me! Thanks in advance! Mat Sadler (matjkd)

Especially the inner art. Great choice, there. I do love that Mindwarp scene for its visuals.

That is a handsome looking set. All the artwork looks beautifully done. Can't wait to find out about the extras.

It says a September release. Doubtless that'll get pushed back to October given it happened with the previous releases, but that's still really quick on the heels of Season 10. They seem to be speeding these releases up.

Weird choice so early in the releases. Terrible season on every level!
(Doctor Who) has been hijacked and redefined as a lucrative modern franchise. They've literally taken a square peg and painfully made it fit a round hole by taking enormous liberties with much of its fundamental essence. There's no turning back now.

They’re probably trying to get an unpopular one or two done while folks are still keen.

Full price for 14 episodes though :(

I am loving this extras list!

What do they mean by 4part *standalone* edition of Terror Of The Vervoids? Could that mean that the courtroom scenes have been taken out for an alternative version?

Yes, that's correct.

Loving the extras as well. After the impressive first two sets, I was a bit underwhelmed with the extras of S18 (though "Waterhouse" is great, and I haven't seen the Logopolis effects yet). This is an impressive set and has me looking forward to the rest of the 'short seasons', if they pack in this much content.

Does anyone know how the Americans are labelling this? I assume 'Colin Season 2', so where's Twin Dilemma going? In with 1, different from UK?

Twin Dilemma isn't in Colin's complete first season, so I'm sure it will just be on Davison's complete third season (and then some).

It's not ideal, the way the American branch decided to name their sets. But it's not exactly contradictory or much of a problem. I do not think they will restructure the seasons because of a slight naming imperfection, but we will see!

As for how they'll name this set, it might be a while until we find out. S23 will come out in the UK a month before S10 is even out in the US. They've gone back to treating the American market like they usually tend to, with long delays.

Thanks. I'm not American, just curious as it's the first set that'll touch on this anomaly. Pat will have a similar problem, of course.

Hmm, not so sure about the food bits. Colin goes bon vivant and cooks from the Doctor Who Cookbook. Ten courses for his guests.

Could be good for a laugh.

Sure, I think it'll be a more prominent issue in that case. Easy enough to have episodes belonging to another Doctor on the end of a set (21), but perhaps stranger to lead with them (2). Though it's possible that the first disc in that set will be Tenth Planet (with a Smugglers recon on it?), which does at least feature Pat.

The obvious answer to the 'Twin Dilemma dilemma' is to put it on both the last Davison and the first Colin sets. There are collections elsewhere (Universal monsters?) where I'm sure cross-over bits like this are attended to. Extras regarding TD would naturally be part of the Davison set, but there's no reason why for the sake of a little extra convenience the episodes themselves could be on both sets.

Does that mean they should stick the TVM in with S26?

Just leave the Twin Dilemma in S22
