Thanks to donations from members I've been able to move Planet Mondas to a faster server. But I'm still working on further improvements. Ad Revenue covers the server fees, but not my time, so if you like you can buy me a coffee, which will help fuel me! Thanks in advance! Mat Sadler (matjkd)

Was washing my hands as my routine during the bird flu thing that seemed to have fizzled out!
As for staying at home, we don't talk about what's outside.
Did have vertigo and puking earlier this year but that was due to needing new glasses and have been fine.
I actually live about a twenty minute drive from Arrowe Park Hospital where the evacuated were quarantined!!!

Liverpool Labour Leader: We will not abandon and will always stand beside the people who voted against this Boris Johnson government*! (Mobile rings) Excuse me, hello? Oh hello Boris? A fatal and serious virus?!! SEND THEM TO THE WIRRAL!!! THEY'RE NOT PROPER SCOUSERS!! I DON'T WANT TO DIE! :hurts:

*= The Wirral voted Labour throughout like Liverpool did last December. Local elections this May. Ah, there's hope.

:floorroll:

I swuggest we also confine all posts to non-contentious subjects that are unlikely to cause inflamation to either the rabidly woke or the rabidly reactionary...

Oh wait, we already have.

Where's the option for wearing face masks while posting? We don't want to go catching any of those computer viruses!

If need be, we can always quarantine the Missing Episodes section.

I'm sure I speak for many of us here when I say that "self-isolating" won't be a problem. In fact given the guidelines for what one is allowed to do, I may even get out more.

I'm going to have to isolate myself from the news while I recover from hearing too many uses of the word "unprecedented". It's been overused in reports about Coronavirus in a manner that's positively... er... ah... how can I put this...?

How’s your lockdown “bubble” going Liz?

I guess this is our fate by next Friday since our government copies Jacinda on most of these things.

At least you have all your online buddies to keep you sane for the next four weeks. :D

Yeah, no worries, if only I didn't work from home anyway it might be like a holiday. I'm not too worried about Covid-19 because compared to climate change it'll be a doddle, and it's making governments do stuff, both on the environment and social front, that they should have been doing for years. The question will be whether we want to go back to "business as usual" after seeing the good being done by getting off the treadmill, out of the rat race, etc.

I guess this is our fate by next Friday since our government copies Jacinda on most of these things.

Unfortunately not quickly enough. People don't understand exponential growth... I think the fate of the UK could be a lot more worrying if you don't lock down, like "herd immunity" for the survivors (i.e. about 99% of the population, hopefully). But since we'll have a vaccine in 18 months, everyone will have access to immunity after that, so it's a waste of lives to not lock down at once. People who want to "strike a balance" and "keep things going" are idiots, or very rich people who don't want to see their share portfolio go down the pan, it's the modern version of appeasement. The global capitalist juggernaut will start up again easily enough, dead people are a bit more tricky.

At least you have all your online buddies to keep you sane for the next four weeks. :D

Yep, I'm relying on that!
