"Shaken, not stirred", "We're the Sweeney, son - and we haven't had any dinner" and all that jazz.

Stories of an antique dealer who is really an undercover agent.

"The Baron" TV Intro

The announcement that American actor Steve Forrest died on May 18, 2013, at age 87, put me in mind of his long-ago British TV series, "The Baron." In it, Forrest played John Mannering, an antiques dealer who is also a sometime undercover agent "working in an informal capacity for the head of the fictional British Diplomatic Intelligence ..." "The Baron" ran for only 30 episodes, from 1966 to 1967. R.I.P., Steve Forrest.

Thanks to donations from members I've been able to move Planet Mondas to a faster server. But I'm still working on further improvements. Ad Revenue covers the server fees, but not my time, so if you like you can buy me a coffee, which will help fuel me! Thanks in advance! Mat Sadler (matjkd)

Very much one that my Mum and Dad used to watch. Surprised to see that there weren't that many episodes as it seemed to be always on.
