Craig Stirling, Sharron Macready and Richard Barrett were agents for Nemesis, an international intelligence organization based in Geneva. Their first mission as a team was to investigate some potentially lethal experiments in Communist China, but when they were escaping, their plane was damaged. They crashed into a remote part of the Himalayas where they were rescued by members an unknown civilization. They came away from the encounter with superhuman powers--telepathy, superior strength, memory, etc.--and returned to the outside world as "Champions of law, order and justice."

Thanks to donations from members I've been able to move Planet Mondas to a faster server. But I'm still working on further improvements. Ad Revenue covers the server fees, but not my time, so if you like you can buy me a coffee, which will help fuel me! Thanks in advance! Mat Sadler (matjkd)

Such a shame she's no longer with us. :(

First saw this series when it was repeated along with Man in a Suitcase and Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) in the mid-eighties across the various ITV regions that we received (Thames TV, Anglia and TVS) Just yer usual bog standard ITC fayre really, but it was kind of colourful and fun to watch and I did like the three leads.

I've seen the whole series several times. It is fun - there are a few dud episodes, but generally it's very watchable. The was talk of a movie version a few years ago, but nothing has materialised.

They don't make adds for show like these any more.

Stuart Damon seems particularly uncomfortable and awkward - he was perfectly fine on the show, as far as I remember.

I don’t remember The Champions as being anything special but Alexandra Bastedo certainly was extraordinarily beautiful.
