Coronation Street Moment

Sue Ellen, you're a drunk, a tramp and an unfit mother.

She pegged it donkeys years ago, the producers took a page out of Barbara Cartland's book and painted her with white foundation, and propped up the old cadaver on a couple of broom handles...

Thanks to donations from members I've been able to move Planet Mondas to a faster server. But I'm still working on further improvements. Ad Revenue covers the server fees, but not my time, so if you like you can buy me a coffee, which will help fuel me! Thanks in advance! Mat Sadler (matjkd)

I found this clip on YT and just had to share. I nearly died of fright/laughter when I saw what the cast were wearing. Julie Goodyear seems to have come have a boiled sweet. On top of that Cilla tramples all over the Doris Speed's punchline.

My next door neighbour mixed up her KY jelly with the superglue. I asked her how she managed that but her lips are sealed.

How the hell Cilla Black ever had a career in television is beyond me.................that other old trout has been in it since the year dot as well, the one who works in the pub. She must be 150 years old by now!

That's terrible! On the other hand it would make a great set for ANY post apocalyptic type drama... wouldn't put it past the Who crowd to go there! No worse than seeing their own Cardiff locations for the millionth time. Seriously though, someone should do something. Bit surprised someone didn't keep it clean for tourism. All takes money I suppose.

Btw, I hate that bloody Hilton hotel on the skyline. Looks like it's going to fall over any second.

One for you Corrie fans then.
Beginning on Monday 2 October, the broadcaster [ITV 3] will be screening two episodes per day of vintage Corrie dating from 1986, starting with the first appearance of infamous Street villain Alan Bradley (Mark Eden).
