Dallas

Sue Ellen, you're a drunk, a tramp and an unfit mother.

Saw the final episode the other day. Loads of threads left hanging. I think this last season has been terrible. Not that the stories weren't good but that they didn't fit into the world of Dallas we left in 1991. Shootings and dead bodies popped up from time to time in the old series but you never saw anything quite as graphic as someone being shot in the head at close range. :o
My next door neighbour mixed up her KY jelly with the superglue. I asked her how she managed that but her lips are sealed.

Thanks to donations from members I've been able to move Planet Mondas to a faster server. But I'm still working on further improvements. Ad Revenue covers the server fees, but not my time, so if you like you can buy me a coffee, which will help fuel me! Thanks in advance! Mat Sadler (matjkd)

I don't have a problem with sex on TV so much. If anything in terms of sex on TV, here in Britain we have gone backwards. The 1970's was awash with police shows that would pop in a tit just for a few frames in a scene that saw the cops breaking down a door and finding the crook in bed with a blond bit of crumpet. Dallas always had scantily glad lovelies wearing sexy undies but the violence was very tame. It's gone the other way.

The original Dallas was a pretty big thing back in the day wasn't it? Who shot J.R and all that.

My folks certainly liked watching it. I didn't mind it myself either truth be told.

Think it was old J.R (Larry Hagman) that made this series. He was, as me dear old nan would say, a right cowson in it. Looking at some of his put-downs and stuff there, I'd kinda forgotten how witty and comical he was with it too.
