Thanks to donations from members I've been able to move Planet Mondas to a faster server. But I'm still working on further improvements. Ad Revenue covers the server fees, but not my time, so if you like you can buy me a coffee, which will help fuel me! Thanks in advance! Mat Sadler (matjkd)

Alex Kingston did one too I think...so definitely not the first Doctor Who star whichever way you slice it.

Apparently two (now deleted) tweets said something was going to be announced at 7:55 tonight.

Update: Nevermind, it was just a stupid quiz on Catchpoint

That seems oddly appropriate.

Mirror apparently didn't do much research when claiming Jodie was the first Doctor on the show. John Hurt appeared on it too once

Yes, I remember him getting really shitty because he had no Irish blood in him whatsoever.

The Doctor died with Capaldi. The Chibnall era is non-canon.

There are no Doctors before William Hartnell.

Without respect, we reject.

Eh?? What's this all about?

"....This now-global Day Of The Doctor rewatch party" ??

No idea.
Smells of a desperate attempt to remind people of the last time they liked this show to me.
(Doctor Who) has been hijacked and redefined as a lucrative modern franchise. They've literally taken a square peg and painfully made it fit a round hole by taking enormous liberties with much of its fundamental essence. There's no turning back now.

Well it appears it was an attempt to bring Doctor Who fans together in trying times.

I knew nothing about it, but I’m glad some people are at least making the effort to provide some sort of distraction.

So for 75 minutes we were all able to put our fears and worries aside and smile and what readers of DWM voted the greatest Doctor Who story of all time.

What the one with the Zygons and the paintings is better than "The Daleks" and "The Invasion" and "Inferno" and "Genesis of the Daleks" and "City of Death" and...

Who are these "readers of DMW" ???

Young, impressionable, types who believe Doctor Who started with Matt Smith.

The folly of youth and all that.

Unless they've done a more recent survey, it was years ago that Day Of The Doctor topped the magazine poll for the first 50years, almost directly after that story was transmitted if I'm right, while it was still under the limelight.

If the poll was undertaken again I'd be surprised if it was in the top 5.
