Wow, so the Doctor really is a lonely god(dess)! What an inventive and stunning development!!!
We hope that our early successes make up for the embarrassing mess we’ve become. Like Facebook. Or America.

Oh I didn't realise Bill was gay. Why on earth didn't they mention that before?

The five hundred and thirty first Doctor - Patrick Troughton - is my favourite.

I love it when they recast a much loved classic Doctor and his companions. I can barely tell the difference between them and the original actors. They really captured William Hartnell's characterisation and that chap they had playing Ben? Well he was a dead ringer for Michael Craze, even down to his height, and he delivered his lines with exactly the same energy! I can't wait for them to revisit all the other classic era TARDIS crews!!!

Oh look they've brought back a Classic series monster/alien race and once again really improved the design.

How do they keep getting these new incarnations of The Master so right.

"The writing is so intellectual."
(Doctor Who) has been hijacked and redefined as a lucrative modern franchise. They've literally taken a square peg and painfully made it fit a round hole by taking enormous liberties with much of its fundamental essence. There's no turning back now.

It has one of the most intelligent, tolerant, sophisticated fandoms who in no way are a group of cult like muppets squeeing at stupid catchphrases and making the show more toxic than radioactive waste.

I really enjoyed that...
Now that we all know about the rude bits, aren't they rude? And as we get older, they get ruder and ruder.

Someone hates Tenant so much he wants to punch him in the face. This was literally the last post I read before I read this.

Perhaps Tenant feels the same way, I don’t know.

Whichever way you look at it it’s neither intelligent, tolerant or sophisticated and sort of undermines poor old Joseph’s argument.

Two out of three members of the fandom perhaps.

It's called a joke, dude.

I know it's tough for those with no sense of humour to appreciate those. :P

I know, why do you think I left it in?

It was the delicious irony of going straight from your post to Joseph’s.

It seemed too good an opportunity to pass up. :D
