Do you mean Moffat's writing in newWho, or Capaldi's in DWM?

Either way.......invasion of the body snatchers!

Thanks to donations from members I've been able to move Planet Mondas to a faster server. But I'm still working on further improvements. Ad Revenue covers the server fees, but not my time, so if you like you can buy me a coffee, which will help fuel me! Thanks in advance! Mat Sadler (matjkd)

I don't want to go there.

Having watched In the Loop yesterday, I can now see that Capaldi's a good choice.

In The Loop was just plain weird in some departments. Why, when Capaldi was playing Malcolm Tucker, his Thick Of It character, were there other main Thick Of It actors all playing completely different characters?
I found it really peculiar and off-putting. :monkey:
(Doctor Who) has been hijacked and redefined as a lucrative modern franchise. They've literally taken a square peg and painfully made it fit a round hole by taking enormous liberties with much of its fundamental essence. There's no turning back now.

That is weird. I've never watched the series but from what I understand they play the same characters just with diffrent names. I realise its a stand alone story but that's still an odd decision.

Only Malcolm and jamie play the same characters, the others are completely different characters but played by the same actors as Thick of It.
