Thanks to donations from members I've been able to move Planet Mondas to a faster server. But I'm still working on further improvements. Ad Revenue covers the server fees, but not my time, so if you like you can buy me a coffee, which will help fuel me! Thanks in advance! Mat Sadler (matjkd)

You know I wouldn't mind seeing Brian Blessed as The Doctor....
The Doctor died with Capaldi. The Chibnall era is non-canon.

There are no Doctors before William Hartnell.

Without respect, we reject.

Rowan Atkinson. For reals.

If not, and if it isn't stunt cast, then I guess whichever English actor out of the Marvel movies is available - guy who plays Loki, Agent Carter, etc.

Never seen the Walking Dead.

Not to mention a great recurring foe - damn it, Mr Moffat, you should have spotted that opportunity and got Simon Nye to rewrite the ending!

(Although admittedly that was STILL one of the best episodes of the Moff era IMHO.)

Mind you, that's hardly high praise.

At one point, back when I thought Moffat actually had a plan and a clue what the hell he was doing, I thought the Dream Lord was really "out there" somewhere and was the reason Madam Kovarian and company hated the Doctor so much and were out to get him.
Instead it turned out they didn't have a reason. Hmmm. :P
(Doctor Who) has been hijacked and redefined as a lucrative modern franchise. They've literally taken a square peg and painfully made it fit a round hole by taking enormous liberties with much of its fundamental essence. There's no turning back now.

True.

It was, in fact, one of the best episodes of New Who - but that's still not very high praise.

Is there a more recent vintage luvvie of the Tennant type? Other than the ubiquitous "Cumberbatch"?

If so, then it's odds-on that will be the next Doctor Who.

I'd still love it if Sean Pertwee did it.

Only with more of the gangster / Sheriff from Brother Cadfael.

"'Ello Master my love. You wouldn' be finking of doin' anyfink to the universe, wouldja? Only, th'universe is MY patch, innit?"
