Full series 2016

I have to thank Ian Levine for bringing this article to my attention. Apparently Steven Moffat said that we're getting a full series in 2016.

The Doctor died with Capaldi. The Chibnall era is non-canon.

There are no Doctors before William Hartnell.

Without respect, we reject.

Thanks to donations from members I've been able to move Planet Mondas to a faster server. But I'm still working on further improvements. Ad Revenue covers the server fees, but not my time, so if you like you can buy me a coffee, which will help fuel me! Thanks in advance! Mat Sadler (matjkd)

No, he says he's making a full series, and also says he's not in charge of scheduling. In other words, it could still conceivably be spread over 2016 and 2017, much like series 7 was.
(Doctor Who) has been hijacked and redefined as a lucrative modern franchise. They've literally taken a square peg and painfully made it fit a round hole by taking enormous liberties with much of its fundamental essence. There's no turning back now.

I wondered about that, too. What we really need is for him to confirm that he'll be making 12 eps in 2017 as well (or in ian's case, that he isn't...)

Gosh 2017, that's when the next appearance of that alien whatsit thing that SETI is looking for is scheduled.
