So what other stuff are people into outside of classic and cult TV and film?

I’m obsessed with The Franklin Expedition, so AMC’s The Terror was right up my street. I’m currently building a 1:65 model of HMS Terror. I love the history of polar exploration.

I’m a bit of a history enthusiast in general and like to visit historical places of interest. I was recently in Vienna and the Hapsburg palaces and stuff was really cool.

I’m also slowly working through the Terry Pratchet books.

I love poker and cricket. The former playing, the latter watching.

Thanks to donations from members I've been able to move Planet Mondas to a faster server. But I'm still working on further improvements. Ad Revenue covers the server fees, but not my time, so if you like you can buy me a coffee, which will help fuel me! Thanks in advance! Mat Sadler (matjkd)

Politics, Twitter, other “cult TV”, reading, music (do love a bit of Symphonic Power Metal), spending time with Mrs W, renovating our house....

It’s sort of Iron Maiden crossed with Murray Gold with Katherine Jenkins on vocals :D

I'm fairly obsessed with Henry VIII, and have quiet a few books/ documentary dvd's on him.

As well as dramatic versions, my favourite being Keith Michell's interpretation.

I'm a big fan of the Adam West, 1966 Batman, having the complete series on blu ray and few related toys..

I'm a fan of Christopher Reeve's first two Superman films, and have a dollie of him...

I have the complete series of the original Lost in Space on DVD, + a toy talking Robot B9..

Also Laurel and Hardy, Universal Monsters and MARVEL comics( I stopped collecting in the mid 1980's, but catch up with graphic novel collections) and movies.

The original STAR TREK and it's related films, all on blu ray and some toys.

Carry on Films, got the complete lot of them, plus the Christmas specials ( I also have a talking Kenneth Williams dollie )

Possibly my favourite stuff is Gerry Anderson, from Stingray onwards, it's the first one I watched as a kid.

I've got most of it up till SPACE 1999 on DVD/Blu Ray. Never could get into Terrahawks.

Got loads of Gerry Anderson toys too, unfortunately, none of my original 1960's ones.

I used to do Amatuer Dramatics and played bass guitar in bands for a few years.

Unfortunatly due to ill health, I can't do those kind of things anymore.

Music wise, I'm into The Beatles, The Police and Queen mainly.

I was fortunate to see Queen live at the old Wembly Stadium in 1986, Sting and the Police a few times, and Paul McCartney before his voice was shredded.
Lawks-a-lordy, my bottom's on fire...

Writing (sci-fi), reading (fan fiction, true crime), 80s movies, making videos, card games.
(Doctor Who) has been hijacked and redefined as a lucrative modern franchise. They've literally taken a square peg and painfully made it fit a round hole by taking enormous liberties with much of its fundamental essence. There's no turning back now.

My family.

Compiling cryptic crosswords (in case no one's noticed). I've had around 80 published in various magazines.

Writing fantasy / SF - as yet unpublished.

Walking. Chocolate.

Music (eclectic, I like everything except classical (too much as a child - but I make exceptions), opera (ditto), brass bands, country - and anything boring, derivative, MOR...)

Reading, watching TV and films.

Or to be more accurate about it, I collect a lot of stuff that seems to attract/gather the dust. Action figures and dolls, books, comics and magazines, Blu-Rays and DVDs, mostly all to do with cult TV and films.

I like making/watching films and listening to music. I also collect rocks.
One morning I shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got in my pajamas, I don't know.

Food. I love cooking and am always looking to try different cuisines and we also like dining out as well.

Bread making. I have two sourdough cultures in the fridge. Always love making a loaf or three.

Craft beer. Always loved real ales going back years. Craft beers takes it on another level.

Hammer/amicus horror movies.

Cycling. Definitely a middle aged man in Lycra. I would happily spend all day cycling round rural Durham if I could.

Cult/classic tv. Although I watch very little these days.

Detective shows. We're just binge watching "The Loch" at the moment.

Reading the (adult) works of Anthony Horowitz, although I might have made an exception for "The Killing Joke" had I known
