Good to see that Ronnie C. got a chance to shine in his own solo show. "Language Timothy!!

Roy Holder from ANDROZANI a regular too, as Tim's exasperated best friend.
Been watching Roy Holder in Ace of Wands.

Hard to believe it’s the same actor.

Monster of Peladon is a pile of crap, but Curse is pretty good.

That’s all I can say really,

Re: CLASSIC VS. CLASSIC: "The Daleks" (1963) vs. "Planet of the Daleks" (1973)

Planet is a bit of a favourite of mine, which I think I may have mentioned once or twice why before.

Then again I like The Daleks too, although I agree it does get a bit boring in the middle,

How about I like them both equally and for different reasons. :)

Black Orchid, if the 35mm print of Power 6 ever does turn up then we should have a Mondas drinking Zoomathon.

Not much chance of us doing anything else for a while.

Maybe it’s one of Phil’s collector 6! :D

Wiped! Updated edition page 84, 85 and 87: Film library records show that the 35mm print of Power 6 was junked prior to 1976 - probably about 1969. Hmm. Interesting since they kept the other ones. So they recorded it as destroyed but not when. A bit slack in the record keeping department weren’t th...

Re: OH MY GIDDY AUNT, NO!!: The Worst Possible Casting Choices You Can Think of For a Classic Doctor?

Oliver Reed. Yes, his Doctor would have been nicely dangerous, but.... It is difficult to imagine him putting up with any of Peter Grimwade's intense push the actors out of the way/doing stupid hand camera triangle shapes in front of people's faces. It would surely end up with a trip to casualty? A...

Re: OH MY GIDDY AUNT, NO!!: The Worst Possible Casting Choices You Can Think of For a Classic Doctor?

Dave Allen...... I considered Dave Allen (who I once saw live, by the way) but he seemed altogether too much like a good choice that was never made. I see Dave Allen (who I saw live twice btw) as a comedian rather than a comedic actor (like Terry Scott or even Dick Emery). If we’re choosing (or not...

Re: So, What's The Last DVD/Blu-ray You Bought?

Inspired by the Amicus rewatch we didn’t have and the huge drop in UK blu-ray prices on Amazon Oz (up to $15) I decided to splash out and buy Dr Terror’s House of Horrors, The House That Dripped Blood and Asylum, which duly arrived today.

Re: WEEKLY (RE)WATCH OF THE MISSING 97: "The Space Pirates" (Episode 3)

I forgot about the extra videos that Loose Cannon tended to do, so here's the two SPACE PIRATES ones that they did, the first one containing quite a few factoids (Episode 1 was the last ever episode to be recorded at Lime Grove) and episode 2 was only preserved because it was the first ever episode...

Re: What's The Last TV Show You Watched?

I watch a lot of television, but it's mainly older stuff. Person of Interest and Elementary are about the only two 'recent' shows I liked, both of which are now done. Everything else is between 15-57 years old! That’s the same as me. I do watch the occasional new show, but generally Netflix e...

Re: What's The Last TV Show You Watched?

You watch a lot of television Liz. I’m continually amazed at all these shows you find to watch. I watch bugger all television, mainly because I can’t be bothered. Perhaps if some streaming service actually streamed what I wanted to watch I may be arsed. Britbox looks the best hope, but it doesn’t lo...
