Re: Rate "Spyfall Part 2"

I was looking forward to this after last week - JW aside. Sadly, it didn't maintain my interest -it truly would have been more suspenseful and interesting had it ended at the end of part one, leaving us wanting more of the master. When I saw the Tardis interior, and I can't remember whether it has c...

Re: Rate "Spyfall Part 1"

Got to say that on the little seen so far, I'm enjoying Sacha's master more than any since Delgado. Ainley was always too 'Panto' for me. The strange thing in the mix is that Missy is one of my all time favourite characters but at no point do I ever consider her to be the master - more of a Rani typ...

Re: FUTURE FEMALE DOCTORS: An Inevitability?

I think that it partly depends on who the show runner is when the next regeneration comes, assuming it survives that long. If it is still Chibnall then I fear it is inevitable as for him to cast a male lead would be to admit he was wring, and that ain't ever gonna happen. however, if he moves on bef...

Re: Last Doctor Who Audio You Listened To?

Thanks cypher. Does the Main Range have any kind of overarching theme or thread like the various other big finish collections or is it all just random stories?

Re: Last Doctor Who Audio You Listened To?

start with "Blood of the Daleks" as his stories with Lucie Miller are excellent and she has a great arc, then Dark Eyes, Doom Coalition, Ravenous and Time War. From the main range Storm Warning, Chimes of Midnight, Seasons of Fear and Embrace the Darkness are all very good and only £2.99. Hope this...

Re: Last Doctor Who Audio You Listened To?

HI all. With the current series unrecognisable (to me at least), no new animations until next year and no hope of Morris handing anything back i've been relying on the grumpcast and something who to keep me going recently but have grown a real hunger for some new classic who. It got me thinking of t...

Re: Is 2020 Doctor WHO Dead To You?

Oh dear - I think i have succumbed and weakened...I too felt very much like the general gist of the posts above until 2 days ago. Why 2 days ago? Why so specific? Well, I had brought endless paperwork home from work and was sat doing it on the sofa. My lovely, Who-oblivious other half had had BBC ip...

Re: The Doctor Who Grumpcast

Hey Grumpsters - any sight of a new one on the horizon? Just finished for the school holidays (am a teacher not a kid!) and was hoping for something to get my teeth into - none of the other online audios can hold a candle to the purring tones of a true grump

Re: The Doctor Who Grumpcast

A great Grump -thanks all. Hadn't realised how much of the animation for Macra had been cut, characters merged and generally messed around with (only watched ep 1 so far) so that was an eye opener. Let's hope that if there's a next time, they stick to the script and keep hold of the tiny niche audie...

Re: Rate “Arachnids In The UK”

Was all set to give it a go - so far very up and down for me from story to story - and lost any goodwill I had within 10 seconds as soon as the shoehorned line 'I'm your niece's wife' was uttered. Totally irrelevant to the script, story, plot, or character development - only there to yet again fulfi...

Re: Rate “Rosa”

Blimey - a lot of 10's for here. More than episodes 1 and 2 put together with far fewer votes. Yeah, I don't even bother reading the 29 votes for a 1/10 because they're mostly all impulsive votes from people who are always going to hate the episode/series on principle and never give it a fair shake...

Re: Rate "The Ghost Monument"

And as for the hype in the general press about how well received it has been so far, what a breath of fresh air, much needed new blood etc. etc., some 3.5 million viewers who watched the season opener were impressed enough not to bother to tune in to episode 2 - some vote of confidence! Try not to ...
