Due out on March 29th are remastered and expanded versions of the debut album plus Seven and the Ragged Tiger. Each release comes with a DVD containing music videos, TV performances and a concert.
SatRT contains the alternative version of Arena "As the Lights Go Down". I have waited many, many years for this to get an official release.

I love SRTR and I am so happy it's getting a make over and that I can finally get my hands on Say The Word. Only problem is the £36.99 price tag. I hope this will come down as the release gets nearer.
I assume the Power Station album isn't get the same treatment as it has already been done as an expanded release with DVD but only the one CD.

Just found this. I'm guessing it won't be on the DVD

Also discovered there are two versions of ATLGD. The one seen in North America had Rio as the 6th song. The one screened in Europe had Rio replaced with the Reflex video and it has a re-edited intro.

Yay my box sets arrived today. Beautiful they are. DD has the best bonus tracks of the 2: Demos, 12" versions, rare remixes and a BBC Session. One of the demos is Tel Aviv which a whole different song to the one on the album. It even has lyrics......

SATRT's bonus tracks are a bit of let down tho. Most of it has been out on CD before, and if these are to be the final word on DD re-issues than I am little annoyed so much was left off. There are no demos or outtakes on this album and I know there are loads from these sessions out there. The song "Seven And The Ragged Tiger" for one.

I have only had a quick look at the DVD on DD but so far I am convinced the Careless Memories video is a different edit. Check out the footage used at the line "I walk out into the sun...." 8-)

It's a great track. They did it at Live Aid but that track was cut from their set when it was released on DVD. It may have something to do with Simon hitting an as yet unidentified note.

This is a new track from the latest album "All You Need Is Now". The song is "The Man Who Stole Leopard" and has already become one of my all time favourite DD tracks. This is a fan made video using footage from a film I have never heard of called "The Collector". It's a stunning track.

Any band named after a character in "Barbarella" is OK with me.

Milo O'Shea who played Doctor Durand Durand in Barbarella and reprised the role, all be it as Doctor Duran Duran, in DD's Arena film died earlier this month at the age of 87.

I love Electric Barbarella. Shame the album it came from never got a release in the UK and we had to wait a few years more than the rest of the world for the single. :x

Super Models anyone?
