Sadly he’s no longer alive to repent for his views he held 60 years ago.

That was an excellent read, I second the commission of Marco Polo, but not next, firstly The Savages, only 4 episodes and we need to see if Bill Hartnell, looks like, well Bill Hartnell.

Animating Marco Polo and bringing out out a 'Doctor Who Season 1' box set seems like a complete no-brainer to me.
Despite Dr Who's insane random-order release schedule over the decades, normal human beings like to begin at the beginning.
Given a choice of 'hmmm, what will I start with - season 1 or season 23?' it's a no brainer for most purchasers.
Also: season 1 is actually pretty damn good.
And although every last scrap of 405-line video tape is destroyed, it will still look noticeably better on bluray.

Whilst Marco polo would be nice to see animated , i don't think any of the historical stories will get done especially when funding for these are coming from BBC America (no way could i see the massacre ,myth makers or marco polo getting a broadcast on primetime BBC America ) .I think the best we could hope for with these stories is either recons or narrated soundtracks for the stories without telesnaps
