The best chance for achieving peace and prosperity, for the maximum number of people worldwide, is to pursue the cause of liberty.

If you find this to be a worthwhile message, spread it throughout the land.

They are universally mocked and symbolise the very epitome of a gentrified simpleton - all goofy teeth, sh*t-breath and adams apple "like he's constantly trying to swallow a ballcock". The only ones vaguely acceptable were those spinning ones on the old super noodles adverts - To think (as some stupid people sometimes do) that a person sporting this ludicrous piece of neck attire is automatically intelligent is even more hilarious!
Charlie Chaplin wore a bow tie as has Michael Caine - possibly the last noteworthy talent to come out of Elephant & Castle.

There's also Aphex Twin I suppose - but I can't find a picture of him wearing one.

James Bond wears a bow tie when he's wearing a tux. The only reason he looks cool in them is because he's James Bond. Anyone else who wears them looks like a complete tw@t. Please note the censored bad word.

So to reiterate my point

One morning I shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got in my pajamas, I don't know.

While I am a 100% red blooded heterosexual male, that picture still doesn't convince me that bow ties are cool. Well maybe a little bit.

The woman is so anorexic that bow-tie is nearly snapping her in half and she hasn't the energy to even lift her arms up.
My next door neighbour mixed up her KY jelly with the superglue. I asked her how she managed that but her lips are sealed.

So maybe the question should be, can bow ties be cool when worn by the right person?

If so, I still vote yes.

Definitely not.

It really does depend on the person.

I can carry off a bow tie and DJ.
Does that make me James Bond? :floorroll:

Looks like you're coming round to my way of thinking. There are some people on which nothing would look cool... So the question has to be, are bow ties cool when worn by the right person? Obviously the Doctor was referring to himself when he said they were cool.
