If I didn't mishear, then referenced among the races that combine in "The Pandorica Opens" to trap the Doctor was a species called the Haemagog (Haemogog? Hemagog? Hemogog? Double "g"s????).

I don't recognise them from the wider universe (have I missed something? From the comic strips or a Big Finish I haven't heard or something???).

Or are they something we haven't seen yet? River knew what they were...

Kind Regards
Dave

It's just another piece of pointless Moffat continuity left hanging with no explanation like all the other things we've yet to have an answer to.

The 49 year series is littered wioth mention of other races and adventures not shown on screen. Do we really have to see them?

Yes, we never got to see Woman Wept (well, except when I watched "Journey's End" but that's another story  )

I wish we had seen the Terrible Zodin.
My next door neighbour mixed up her KY jelly with the superglue. I asked her how she managed that but her lips are sealed.

A Haema-what?? :?

It sounds dreadful, let's hope it's never inflicted on us.

Bring back the unforgettable Tritovores that's what I say. They will last long in the memory, you know.

Well, technically we did! And it was in the story you mentioned, because Woman Wept was one of the 27 Stolen Planets!!!

From a distance, true. I don't recall seeing the continent or the frozen seas.....or maybe I'd fallen asleep by then.
