Matt Smith attended the GQ awards last night and was interviewed by Richard Arnold for ITV’s Daybreak show. Smith confirmed he begins filming this year’s Doctor Who Christmas Special this Sunday (Sept. 8th). He also said he would be wearing a wig for filming as he shaved off his hair for his last film role in Ryan Gosling’s How to Catch a Monster.
The Christmas Special is Smith’s final story as the Doctor and will introduce Peter Capaldi as the Time Lord’s newest incarnation.
