The actor Angus MacKay has died at the age of 86.
MacKay appeared in numerous television and film productions such as One Foot in the Grave, Only Fools and Horses, Howards’ Way, The Sweeney, The Professionals, Steptoe and Son as the salesman for the water bed, Minder, and Z Cars.
He is best remembered by Doctor Who fans as the first actor to play Borusa in the 1976 story The Deadly Assassin. He returned in 1983 as the Headmaster in Mawdryn Undead.
